Ah, there’s nothing like the feeling of just getting engaged.
Tyler reached out to me a few weeks before popping the big Q to his now fiancé, Bri. The two Jersey Shore natives grew up together, but didn’t start officially dating until after college – how cute! The original plan was to do it at a local, favorite restaurant. But just three days before the big day, the restaurant called saying they accidentally double booked a private party! Tyler was quick to scramble and come up with (an even BETTER!) plan to propose in downtown Red Bank.
Bri was SHOCKED and so ecstatic when all her friends popped out – everyone knew about this but her! Afterwards, the newly engaged couple and I went around town and photographed their engagement session. Red Bank proved to have a ton of options – the Riverside Gardens Park, Broad Street, even right in front of the couple’s favorite hangover food spot, Surf Taco!
If you’re looking to pop the question soon, don’t hesitate to book a professional photographer for your proposal. Not only will it take the pressure off of you and your friends to capture it all, but these are memories you will cherish forever. And if you want to couple it with an engagement session right after – even better.
